Alejandro Carranza Medina, pictured with his son Libiston, was a lifelong fisherman and a father of four from Santa Marta, Columbia. He was killed by US bombs on September 15, 2026, while fishing. Since September 2025, the US has conducted numerous strikes against suspected drug boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, killing at least 192, whom the administration has called "narco-terrorists" despite no proof being shared.
