Je Rêve d'Haïti (I dream of Haiti) was inspired by a scene in the 1934 movie "Zou Zou" when Josephine Baker sings as a bird in a cage, longing to return to Haiti. It was intended as a positive response to the maligning of Haitian immigrants by Donald Trump.
