Jorge Garcia came to the United States from Mexico as a child and had been in the country for 30 years when, in 2018, he was deported to Mexico. After two years, with the help of Michigan congresswoman Debbie Dingell, he was reunited with his family. This artwork begs the question, how many families live in fear of being torn apart?
